We used to be so close. I considered you one of my best friends. It wasn’t a surprise to me—it has happened before plenty. It’s an unpleasant surprise to watch the ones you thought were your closest companions slip right out of your life without a single care. It’s saddening. You used to come to me with all your problems and told me how you felt about people excluding you. Do you ever think twice about your decisions? It’s funny how you value the ones that don’t value you at all more than the ones who actually care about you. Quit trying so hard to please everyone.
